About Our Pastors
George Ippolito | Senior Pastor
Pastor George began feeling God's call into ministry shortly after completing his bachelor's degree at Pace University. With an opportunity to begin ministry in 2004, he began serving as a Director of College Ministry and Outreach at a local church in Staten Island, NY. Shortly after ministering in that capacity, he then became the Pastor of Student Ministries and served there until May, 2008. In 2009, George began serving at Bethel Evangelical Free Church as a Pastoral Intern and is ordained through the Evangelical Free Church of America.
George became the Pastor of Tottenville Evangelical Free Church in the fall of 2012. He, and his wife Lauren, have been married since 2007 and reside in Staten Island, they have two children, Zachary and Theadora.
Joe Monagas | Assistant Pastor
In 2006, Joe was called to serve as a director of a Public Evangelism ministry at a church in New York City and served there until 2010.
He later moved to New Jersey and soon after began serving as an Elder and also led a church home group at a local congregation. Joe has been serving as an Elder at Tottenville Evangelical Free Church since 2018. In the beginning of 2023 he began serving as Assistant Pastor of TEFC.
Joe has been married to his wife Gloria since 2002, and they are currently living in New Jersey nearby their children.
